Biographical Information

John and Evette Shiver have been married since 1975 and have 3 children, Melinda, Matthew, and Marshall Anne. In full-time ministry since 1979, John was powerfully touched by revival in January of 1993. Since that time, the Shivers have traveled across America and around the world to churches, conferences and crusades.

Dr. Shiver graduated from the University of West Florida (B.A.) Asbury Theological Seminary (M.Div. and M.A.R.) and School of Bible Theology Seminary (Th.D.) and also did post grauduate work at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. He was ordained into the Kentucky Conference of the United Methodist Church in 1979, and pastored a local church there before returning to Florida in 1984. After moving to Florida, he founded a non-denominational church where he was Pastor until 1994.

He is a faculty member of the Christian Life School of Teology in Columbus, Georgia.
